Restrictions on Monthly limits on SBI credit cards

I have SBI card with 3,00,000 Limit. I spent 2,15,000 on card. Then I paid entire 2,15,000 before the bill generation. So expected my entire 3,00,000 limit was free to use.
However I could not make a transaction of 97,000 because it crossed monthly limit of 3,00,000.
It works in Axis but not in SBI.
Is there any solution?

Sbi want to restrict cb or rewards so u can’t use a card more than ur limit in a month until next bill

There is no solution here. you cannot purchase more than assigned credit limit. I am not sure how in Axis its allowed. Maybe you got multiple cards in Axis and using top aggregate limit to purchase?

I have a cb card with 20k(earlier it was 10k). Total purchases for last statement is around 75k.

They do have some sort of monthly limit but it is not your credit limit

This may be changes implemented recently - Previously I made transaction even more than credit limit by Paying extra - Around diwali time, had to purchase gold, transaction amount was around 82k and limit was 75, so paid extra and transaction went through.
