Reward points debited and charges levied by sbicard

i think you guys used your sbi cc in recent sales and they are taking their reward points/cashback back.
yes, I did.
But I have many cards, not a single CC is doing this if we use the CC in sales or in general time.
SBI is pathetic.

My card account is charged a total of 400rs now.
If they don't want to give rp during sale offers, then don't credit those rps at first place and taking those rps back after crediting is surely an unfair practice.
No other card issuing company did that except sbicard.
Many cardholders bought something that are not so necessary, using those reward points and now they have to pay for that.
Even sbicard never send any mail/sms for how they calculated those debit charges.

If this comes under unfair practices according to rbi guidelines, then you should definitely lodge a complaint with them.
I never heard any other CC issuing company taking back rewards unless its order cancellation/refund.
per se, this does not comes under unfair practice accroding to RBI guidelines as long as it was informed that the customers wont be eligible for rewards/cashback for particular transactions and the deductions are for those transactions only.
credit card company can always say that they are debiting these reqards/cashback afterwards because of their internal accounting system or whatever.
pls note -- i am in no way defending sbi cards. i myself have got deduction of 1200 on 29th december

Lost over 4k+ on reversal on my sbi cashback card for this same reason
I think we all should raise complaints against sbi cards in ombudsman.
What if other banks also take note of this practice like what sbi cards is doing and start reversing the rewards just because we used those cards for festive offers??

I think all should also check how much cashback is credited for this month. Statement shows cashback earned as Rs.600 but credited received only around Rs.260.

I did raise it with RBI Ombudsman and fought for 3 months but nothing worked.
Is there anyone who had won this battle with SBI Cards?
