reward points: paying via phonepe app, using saved credit card

if i pay a registered merchant using phonepe and similar apps, and make the payment using a saves credit card, is that transaction counted as a credut card transaction? mainly, asking to know if i can get credit card reward rate for such transactions.

for eg. while placing an order on myntra, i can select the phonepe, bhim upi, etc and still pay using the saved credit card in that app.

Typically the transaction is processed via phone pe. As in, credit card pays to phonepe and phonepe pays to Myntra.

If that is the case, card companies calculates rewards assuming phonepe as merchant. Not myntra.

Instead if you use credit card to directly pay myntra (powered by any payment gateway like razorpay, payU etc) then card company will reward you as per Myntra merchant code
