Rs 10 Coin is not getting accepted in Andhra Pradesh and banks are not willing to take it stating we already have so many coins, some are stating quota of accepting coins is completed, some are saying it is difficult to transport to chest ? What to do ?

I have nearly 80k worth ten coins, i got it for retail shop change purpose, but how to solve this? Please help.

Transfer it to another state, Maharashtra accepts Rs. 10 coins

How did you manage to get 8000 coins?

Have you tried SBI ? Mostly they have weight machine to count these coins. PSBs are better in accepting coins. try them, else lodge a complain

For retail people , it will complete in 3-5 weeks bro, we have to provide change for Rs 10 buying also even customer gives Rs500 note, it's not a huge amount, but it became problem due to no one accepting it

Btw, you can lodge a complaint in case any retailer refuses to accept legal tender. If a retailer refuses to accept it, he/she can be charged for sedition under Section 124A of the Indian Penal Code.

Some 4 years back, in Andhra, one toll booth did not accept 10Rs coins. I went ahead and raised a complaint in https://pgportal.gov.in/
In about 3 weeks I got a response that they verified my case based on cc tv records and found this to be true. They mentioned that they have issued some notice to the operators and the toll gate person also got suspended for some days (The latter part was a shocker to me as I did not intend that. Only wanted the coins to be accepted). So the next time I passed, I gave coins and they accepted.
Try raising a complaint saying Bank is not accepting. Worth a try.
