Problem started from 11th November 2025. When members recieved their cult code after waiting few days and while doing redemption/ validity check of the voucher found that the code is not getting verified. Following screenshot appears. @Hope @JSK111
Then after raising queries to Rupay/ NPCI two versions of story.

In the meantime, we have also observed that Rupay team made a few minor changes in t&c of the redemption. Like only cardholder can use the voucher and mobile number will be linked. See here.

Now all vouchers are linked to registered mobile number at cult as well as rupay account. Both has to be same. No more easy exchange to family and friends.

Other related things that you should be aware of..
1. Family members of the cardholders can not use those vouchers because they are now linked to mobile number of the registered user.
2. Sometimes people use different phone number for registration at rupay but use different number for public profiles like the one they share with gym. Now they have to synchronise.
3. Is it that only phone number to be linked? Or more changes expected in future? Yes, possible. Cult is the most important voucher. That now mostly fixed and can't be shared just like that.
4. The bigger question is what is the motive behind such drastic change? ...that could impact thousands of people across the country. What's cooking in their mind?
Only good thing that I can think of is most cult gym gonna be little less crowded coming forwards. Hope they should expand their network of gyms rather than restricting entries by various means.
I expect Rupay Select / NPCI team should atleast give some alternative options for people who can not make use of these benefit because of various reasons.
