Does Rupay provide a better conversion rate than Visa or MasterCard?
Also, please list out some exclusive benefits apart from promoting India, that a normal consumer can get out of Rupay.

3 types of RuPay card available -

1) RuPay JCB variant work on JCB network outside India - upto 3.5%+GST forex markup charges applicable but still better than Visa/mastercard (why ? visit comparison link i shared below).

2) RuPay Discover/Diners variant work on Discover/Diners network outside India - upto 3.5%+GST forex markup charges applicable but still better than Visa/mastercard (why ? visit comparison link i shared below).

3) RuPay's own native network outside India (all RuPay domestic cards work here, those cards written "valid only in India" now also work outside India, by default International transaction enabled) - Work only on INR currency. No forex markup charges but recently some banks started DCC charges. So, i dnt know DCC charge also applicable on RuPay's Native Global network or not.

Note - RuPay JCB and RuPay Discover/Diners card also work on RuPay's own native global network but you need to choose between RuPay or JCB/Discover/Diners network on POS machine, after swipe your card.

@Abhishek012
would you know if rupay has some bin number series exclusive for its own global network?
like visa (starts with 4), mc (5), jcb is 3 (thats why rupay jcb is also 3) and diners/discover is 6 (along with rupay-dfs). is there something exclusive for rupay? ( not 3 and 6).

i remember seeing some screenshot of sbi rupay prepaid ncmc card starting with 8.
