Is something different with Aurum or I am missing something.
Usually Add on cards are given to immediate family members.

Some banks gives for FIL/MIL.
Technically it's limited to immediate family , but except kotak & Yes bank no other bank verifies relationship.
Amex is pretty straight forward , you can apply for anyone.
Indusind , sbi , hdfc, Icici doesn't check either.
For Indusind I got an addon for few of my friends 😀😀
