SBI BPCL OCTANE approved but virtual card not generated

HI,

I applied SBI BPCL Octane CC via Sprint and it was approved with some 3Lakhs+ limit, however even after 3 days, I do not see the virtual card nor any link to generate virtual card. The web page on Sprint mentions that you can get virtual card instantly. Is it different for Octane card or there is some issue? I got SMS with Last 4 digits of card so I am sure it is approved.

Yeah, it seems SBI has stopped giving virtual card details. I also recently got approved for BPCL octane Rupay but wasn’t able to get full card details before delivery.

How you got Rupay? Converter Visa to Rupay or they gave rupay directly? Because I did not see this option while applying.

I didn’t convert. I got Rupay card directly with new application. I’ve posted my experience here-

Virtual card is only given in case of instant approvals.

Manual approvals only gets physical ones.

What is manual approval? I applied via Sprint and immediately it showed that card is approved with so and so limit. It was instant only, no docs required, only 1Rs txn for KYC.

Sbi works weirdly

Login on sprint again and check if you can generate virtual card

I contacted SBI customer care since it was 4 days since card issued and no physical card dispatch or virtual card was generated. The customer care said that the dispatch details are coming blank and they need to take reissue request by blocking current card. So the current card which was in precautionary block was again blocked and a reissue request has been taken. Its weird. It will take another 7 days for delivery.
