Sbi card existing Customer Verification?

I already hold a sbi credit card. Today an agent approached me for fuel card & he said as you already an existing customer they’ll be no office verification etc. so i applied the card. Is it true can anyone confirm the same who had experience in this particular matter.
Why I’m concerned is few days back I’ve kinda bitter experience with idfc card verification, that office verification is more like a Photoshoot of entire office instead just asking credentials, so i don’t wanna create a scene 1 more time in short period of time.

Yes I work in same company where my 1st sbi card office verification was done that’s 2 years back.

Applied same to my friend, already holding SimplyClick and applied Cashback card..

- Applied through Sprint
- Submitted bank statements/income
- 2 telephone calls came to re-verify all details
- Status showing as: application submitted

- 1 in-person house verification happened
- Status showing as: verification in-progress

.. and so on ..

So, it will be more or like 1st card experience only, no office verification happened but above process may or maynot happen to you.

1st check sbicard app/website whether you already have offer or not, because now adays sbi offering simplysave & bpcl card. If there is an offer, you do not need to do anything, card directly deliver to your registered address.

Then try to apply sprint but mention like you're working from home when thy call you, they do not visit office but maybe home. Its just normal there is no photographs.

This is weird, application status is showing as: “under verification”, it’s been like this from Monday , today Thursday, No House visit not office visit nothing happened. Why is this delay, usually ain’t they do these verifications the very next day of application & at most the on the second day of application. But no word from anyone. But two hits were done on my cibil.

When speaking with call executives, they often give the impression that your card is already approved. Their tone, approach the words & sentences they choose to convey details makes you feel that “ card already approved & all these things are just aftermath
No matter what you ask they always speak in that context only.

To establish it further they’ll send terms & conditions, estimated limit, 2-3 calls to confirm the details, 11 days sms, WhatsApp messages, fees & charges, Card Protection plans, some legality document to sign via digilocker. These things will act as the final nail in the coffin


This marketing strategy is something else.

yes, in sbi card approved (CS words) means "we received your application, and processing it.."
