SBI CASHBACK 5% on Travel

Anyone getting 5% cashback on SBI Cashback Card for Flight tickets through Cleartrip, Easemytrip etc. Since last year, there was a bug on Cleartrip, Easemytrip and flight tickets are reported as MCC 4112 (Railways)

So, no cashback on Railways as per SBI Tnc. What about gift cards purchase via Amazon, what MCC it uses?

By the way, I am lucky customer to have SBI CASHBACK CARD as lifetime free.

Last week Yatra gave Railway MCC for my flight booking transaction. Unfortunately payment via Amazon gift card balance option was also not there on payment gateway.

Can u tell how did u get it as lifetime free

This is called customer acquisition cost. I am using this card as primary card and paying bills on time. I use below 10% of credit limit. I have good credit score. After using the card for two years I asked customer care to convert my card into lifetime free. Customer care checked that I am valuable customer and bank can sacrifice Rs. 1000 annual fees to keep valuable customer happy.

Ensure you take mail from Bank that the card is offered LTF
