Sbi cashback card works on apple offline cashback?

Friend was buying an Iphone at croma called me asking for a sbi card, I said you already have cashback cc why need anything else. Bro said croma cashier is saying cashback card doesn't work for apple cashback offer. Is this true? I understand online as it will also give 5% but offline it's normal like everyone else flat 1%.

Whatever the stores say that is correct . Even I too noticed in one of the newspaper ads about Girias showroom discount on sbi cards for TV, acs where sbi cashback was excluded in the TnC.

It happened with me as well, they mentioned the instant discount applicable on SBI and ICICI cards, so i gave my SBI CB card just to increase my spends on the card to help me with fee waiver, but it didnt work. Them i gave them my ICICI Apay card and it worked. It also gave me 1% back!!
