SBI Credit Card Akshay Tritiya Cashback Offer

Hi All

Has anyone else purchased Gold through SBI Credit Card in the Akshay Tritiya Campaign run by SBI in May 2024. It had mentioned 5% Cashback up to Rs 2500 on a minimum spend of Rs 25000 at one of these jewellery stores viz., Reliance Jewels, Tanishq, Malabar Gold etc etc. The cashback for the same was supposed to be posted in the account by August 12, 2024.

Does anyone have any idea about this? A similar campaign is run by SBI Cards every Akshay Tritiya and on Diwali as well. Can anyone tell me do they really credit cashback and if yes, then when does the cashback appear in your credit card account.

FYI, I purchased gold above the mentioned limit using SBI SimplyClick Credit Card at one of those above mentioned respective jewellery outlet.

Please let me know if anyone has availed a similar type of offer before and how was your experience?

I availed this offer for the first time. So no idea when they actually credit this cashback. The offer page mentioned by 12th August 2024 it will posted to account. Tried reaching the customer care and as usual they don't seem to have any idea about this, asked to wait till statement generation date.

Good to know this. Can you confirm if your statement generation date was the same date as well? And if they do not credit cashback, how we can address this?

I got the cashback 2 days before the "90 days" deadline, so, the statement generation month was not same as of cashback posting.

Hi Guys,

Update to the above: I sent an email to the customer care of SBI Cards on 13th Aug with the Instagram Page screenshot of the offer. Didn't get any reply but today when I checked my SBI Card app, i see i have received the cashback of Rs 2500 with a posting date of 11 Aug.

Yup. I had availed this offer for the first time. So was curious why it wasn't posted past the confirmation date as well. Finally, at peace 👍😄
