SBI credit card auto debit permission

Hello everyone, I am planning to apply for an SBI Credit card because I am seeing that its being approved online lately. I have seen some of the application process videos during which there seems to be two options for verification of KYC. 1. Video KYC or 2. Bank account confirmation where the applicant enters an account (of any bank with the option of upi) where an amount of Rs. 1 is received from and returned back to the SBI respectively. I just wanted to know if this authorizes SBI to auto debit credit card bill payments from the account used for verification in the future.

I want to pay my bills at my own time and don't want any auto debit enabled if a card is approved. Is it possible that SBI can auto-debit the credit card bill amount from the verification account even if the account is from another bank without me explicitly authorizing it?

~I applied through Yono, but it asked for mendatory auto-debit, else it wouldn't allow me to proceed.

Yes, I am aware of that. Thats precisely the reason why I dont want to apply through my account at Yono. Many friends I know are having problems because the SBI card is linked with their yono account and its debiting the bill amount automatically on the due date even if they pay it earlier. SBI customer care is a nightmare to deal with.

I dont want to keep any account linked for them to auto debit. I intend to use my icici account upi for the verification process which is why I am asking if the process will enable them to auto debit from my icici upi account.
