Sbi credit card limit emi conversion

someone please clear my doubt. my father has sbi simplyclick cc with limit of 34000. I want to buy two electronic appliances from amazon during this republic day sale. one is worth 24000 and the other is worth 12000. I know that if a create an emi for the first product, 24000 will be first blocked in the cc and then converted to emi, so i want to know that after the conversion to emi, can I buy the second product worth 12000? will the emi lead to the reduction of the usage of the credit limit amount?

EMI will block whole 24,000 and will get slowly released as soon as you pay EMI one by one. Simply conversion into EMI will not release any amount and you will not be able to use your carrd for 12k txn and current available limit in your card will be somewhere lesser than 10k as EMI will include processing fee +GST.
