SBI credit card upgrade

I have SBI Ola money with 1L+ limit and Simply click with 1.4L limit, both used less. Any chances of getting Cashback card by merging both limits ? BTW one EMI is going on Ola card

You have to apply online through Sbicard Sprint site
SBICard does not offer upgrade to cashback card
After approval you will get separate limit or shared with any sbi cc

Will I get 3rd SBI card or should I close one before applying ? Any cooling period ? HDFC millenia vs SBI cashback which is better ?

1. You can have 3 credit card in sbi no problem in that.

2. 3months gap between last credit card application helps better

3. Cashback is better than millennia

Not sure, I guess no. Also, they reduce limit if usage is less, unlike other banks. Saw some posts

Yes they reduce limit. They credit extra points by mistake and then after some days takes it back.

But if you use SBI cards properly they provide good limit increase and time to time upgrades
