Sbi fee waiver available but which option to select from the drop down?

Hi guys,

they charged annual fee on my bpcl card. When I clicked on card closure request and selected other fees and charges, it showed fee waiver available. When I click avail offer, I get the below list of options, but there is no annual fee option there. Whatever option i select, it says fee not charged. What should I do?

This does not apply to the annual fee. You’ll need to call customer service and explicitly request a reversal of the annual fee. There’s no other way to do it.

I don't think that's possible via the app.

It's says no finance charge has been charged on the card.

Actually they used to provide a standalone banner if you wanted to request fee waiver during raising a closure request. Not sure when they removed it. Check if there is an option to choose 'Other fees & charges' and select that. That'd be the most appropriate imo.

When i click that option, it says avail fee waiver. After clicking that i asked to clear existing due amount. I cleared them and tried but now it asks to select the fee that I want to waive off and I have shared the screenshot of available options

They may also call you to discuss the same with customer

Well , you can. Let her speak with customer care and then you can take over during the call

Sure, but I would suggest calling them directly. Submit the closure request selecting "Others" as the reason. Then you would be asked to specify the reason in a text box, just mention Annual fee there.

You can, just need confirmation from her during call with cx
