Phonepe has started levying 2.87% convience charge on utility. Good thing I didn't close my axis airtel and went all in for sbi phonepe.

your amount is 855.5 and fee is 18.47 which is 2.16% right? Axis Airtel started with 1.2% then 1.74% and now its 2.25% and moreover max is only 250Rs so not sure how Axis Airtel will be a better bet here if bills are above Rs 2500 per month

Im think that the basic PhonePe variant card has launched with 2% or 3% cashback benefits are actually a scam for those users.
Forget getting benefits — they’ll end up paying money from their own pocket. 🤣🤣

You are using Visa variant ? but RuPay variant card charge less on OTP based transaction (Utility category).

Also prepaid and postpaid recharge charges less fee using UPI.
