SBI was recognised as the Best Bank in India for the year 2024 by Global Finance Magazine at its 31st Annual Best Bank Awards event.

Seriously Out of all Banks in India, Award Goes to Sbi?. Sbi got never ending list of arrogant Branch Managers, lazy & not giving a F about customer time staff, always finding new ways to cut money in the guise of charges. Buggy apps & the list goes on. Personally i feel SBI won’t deserve the best Bank of India Award

Even though there thousands of ways to get your work done online

If i have to update my kyc details they don't have online option so need to visit branch.... And other branches are asking to visit home branch in this scenario govt banks suck.

Yes they do have an online option via ATM card , only if you cared to explore options you would know

They haven't issued atm card they are asking to upgrade kyc than apply for atm i did the same process 4/5 times. Already and my kyc is never upgraded.

It can be interpreted to be more of a comment on the overall situation with banking in India as a service, than one about SBI in particular!

In any case, such 'awards' should always be taken with a pinch of salt. One never knows about the incentive(s) received from the beneficiary that was behind such 'awards'!

All these awards are PAID/Barter....It is like "You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours"

FWIW
SBI Bank is the only Indian company I know of, that got themselves a separate TLD ".sbi".
Are there others?
Apart from the vision to reserve a TLD for themselves, am curious & interested to know how they did that.
