If i ask the same question from sbi card customer care, would they have right information?

General information applies to all banks..

always trust written document rather words spoken by customer care for "right information".

reason: they're humans, think of there are who knows everything about product, who barely knows, who don't know but tells as they know everything, who don't know but verify and tells, who knows old product information but not updated etc.

answer for same question is not the same for different persons in same bank customer care. So, in case its important always get in mail or ask for MITC document but never trust or rely on one person words (because that can be anyone listed above persons).

Same applies to RMs, or actually everyone in our life.

 
It doesn't clarify clearly that rewards points would be there or not for insurance payment?
If they haven't specifically excluded, then it will fetch 5x for online transaction.
Also consider paying in another card which actually gives cashback instead of worthless rewards which simply click gives.

i just wanted to use this card, so that I can show the card usuage and later put closure request and make it lft. Else other option I have is icici amazon pay card, amazon pay has removed insurance payment through cc, so both cards can get me 1% cashback i think so.
