SBI SIMPLY Save charges wrong commitments

I have been offered the free SBi card on the SBI cards page. However, when I enrol, it shows that there is an annual fee of 499. This seems unjustified to me. Do you have any advice on how to proceed with this card? I am prepared to keep the card if there are no charges. But a false commitment like this makes me reconsider my decision.

Apparently SBI is making a lot of flase promises now. I am struggling with similar issue where retention team offered annual fee waiver but now they are denying it.

This card is first year free.. I got the details of offer in email.. also if u apply through above panel, your credit limit will be split between this card & other SBI card you have..

I went for this card as I wanted to have a low limit rupay card for upi use..
