SBI sprint application firstname issue

Guys, in SBI sprint site for new application,
The first name, middle name and Last name fields are ridiculously have restrictions with limited characters,

Firstname is just 12 characters, and last name is 16 characters.

How come one can enter their name without completing the entire characters?

As per SBI a person with 12 or below characters only can apply?

Am I Missing something?

Anyone applied their 3rd SBI card via SPRINT and get it approved?

I already have SimplyClick and Gold card. Planning to get a co-branded card BPCL.

Did you check the SBI app? it might show up as pre-approved there. But the catch is limit would need to be split from the existing card.

Today I have faced same type of error while filling additional details after ekyc , can't enter my father's full name it allows maximum 15 words to enter inthe father's name.

Anybody got solution for this problem. My First Name is having 14 letters. I spoke with customercare. They asked me to apply offline using the application form. But i am planing to apply PhonePe Select BLACK & TATA Neu Infinity. Both are online products & not available to apply offline.

My issue resolved. I got new card from SBI. I just filled my incomplete name in the SPRINT application form & mobile number. after 10 days i got call from SBI CARD agent. They applied from their end through online. They swapped my FIRST & LAST names. It was KYC done. within 3 days got new card without any issue. One suggestion for others who want to apply this way, please don't enter your PAN. Just leave the application by filling your name & mobile number. Agent only call & do the rest of the process.
