SC Ultimate forex charges back to 3.5% (no more 1.5% cashback) - Devaluation?

Today I got a reminder mail to activate my SC Ultimate card. I was going through the T&C and read this line
  1. W.e.f 1st June, 2024, the cashback of 1.5% given to the client on forex markup fees will be discontinued.

So, it is no more good for international transactions. Only BOB Eterna is king as of now. (I use IDFC Wow, BOB not upgrading my premier to eterna even with 1 Lakh+ salary, asking me to wait for 1 year).

Effective 21st Aug, 2024 it’s now 2% plus tax
