SC Ultimate voucher discounting

How much discounting would you apply for each of these 60 brand vouchers?
The returns depend on the discounting and 117 redemption fee

Notice that the best vouchers Amazon pay, Amazon shopping, Flipkart, etc, which are always available on HDFC Gyftr, Amex Gyftr, etc;
are conspicuous by their absence

ITC hotels would be discounted by 20%. This is the max discount you can get overall on smartbuy and that too if you have Infinia.
Not considering RML rates here as they vary based on supply demand and vouchers expiry

Dont disagree, it will depend on the redemption amount. Redeeming a 1000 Rs voucher would lose you 11.8% of the value while redeeming 10,000 voucher would lose only 1.18% of the voucher value. Your 20% discount seems a bit steep but is valid at around Rs500 redemption

I spent 4,50,000 using 'ultimate' and got 15,000 reward points at 3.33%.

I hope this is a decent redemption amount.

Now, purchased croma voucher worth 15,000.

So, Ultimate provided 3.33% reward rate for my purchases.

But what is the actual value I paid for that voucher?

- Annual fee: 900
- Redemption fee: 118...

only those 60 options mentioned in OP. Its not a scam, IMO because they never promised particular voucher. Earlier and now they're still providing 1rp=1rs. its just our expectations not matching with their options, thats it.

Once you have 1000, 2000, 5000, or 10,000 whichever you completed stop it and don't spend further, because you may have worst options by the time you reach another threshold.

I would say around 45-50% that too being generous. At this point it is better to move the points from SC rather than it dying a slow dead

My usage on Ultimate has stopped since unnecessary charges started popping up on my statement. But, I intend to get those BOSE Quiet Comfort Ultra buds. Unless, Taj or Marriott come back.

The Black ones go cheaper but White ones are almost the same price before discounts. A bigger ticket item also means that redemption charges do not affect the returns much.

1 Point = 0.73p.

Note: Since I closed Ultimate, its showing only generic 0.25p based value. If you have Ultimate card, it will show 15000 (6000/4) MRP product.

Or find some other good product

I have 26k points and don't need luxury apparels/hotels. I am out of options to redeem. Please help, if any ideas?

Anyone redeemed Peter England or similar brand vouchers? Do these vouchers get applied on any discounted sale price or on MRP itself?

take Spar if you have nearby and redesign your home.

take Uber (not much maybe 4k) if you travelling.

or check those marshal speakers, .75p value.

or Taj or Marriott..
