Second SIM card suggestion - Amex Gyftr usage

MSK

TF Buzz
I currently use only 1 sim card, and have been facing difficulties with the Gyftr restrictions of 10k per card/account limit.

I'm using 1 card with my account, 1 supplementary card with my partner's account (diff phone number/email). But need a couple more accounts as I need about 40k Amazon and other Vouchers every month.

I dont really have any use case for this sim card apart from this, so need a provider which i can keep alive and get sms on by doing minimal recharges to extend validity. Any suggestions? BSNL seems to have a 1k yearly plan.

If you use a second phone number on the same card number Gyftr will block your whole account.

Better get one more AMEX supplementary card or a companion card to use with this new number. All the four major operators have 1k yearly validity plans.

Yes I'm aware. I have supplementary and other cards. So it'll be one card per account.

Get yourself a Jio number, initially you have to do a monthly recharge after which you dont have to recharge for the whole year, you will continue to receive texts and calls. But make sure you never leave it switched off otherwise there are 50-50 chances they would deactivate it. Just keep it active and do the least minimum recharge every 8 months or more.

They also spam call you to warn you of deactivation, ignore them. As long as your number is active, they cant deactivate it.

How do you keep a number "active"?

I had a jio sim as my 2nd number a couple of years back, but they deactivated it within 2-3 months of not recharging it. Whereas i have friends for whom it works for a year like you mentioned. So is there any way to make sure the number is active?

By keeping the sim in a phone which is never switched off for long periods even for a hour and making sure its receiving the signal.
You can also do a least minimum recharge ever once a while to make sure.
