I have a fixed deposit (FD) with HDFC Bank for the past two years. Initially, the interest rates were low, but now they have significantly increased. I wanted to know if anyone has successfully managed to increase the interest rates on their existing FDs with HDFC Bank. If you have any advice or guidance on this matter, I would greatly appreciate it.
I understand that FD interest rates are usually fixed at the time of deposit. However, considering the current higher rates, I wonder if there is any possibility of revisiting the terms to benefit from the increased rates.
