Seeking Advice: Using RBL Super Card Reward Points for Bajaj EMI Down Payment?

I recently discovered something interesting about the RBL Bajaj Finserv Super Card and wanted to check if anyone here has experience with it. My dad has accumulated over 50,000 reward points on his RBL Super Card, which are worth approximately ₹10,000.

I came across information that these reward points can supposedly be redeemed against the down payment when purchasing items from Bajaj Finserv partner stores (screenshot attached below). This caught my attention as I’m planning to buy the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra after its launch. If the reward points can be utilized for the down payment, it would significantly reduce the upfront cost.

Recently, while purchasing a new washing machine at Croma, I inquired whether I could use these reward points to reduce the down payment. The staff informed me that the option to redeem points would appear in the last step of availing the loan. However, when I reached that step, the system showed my available points as 0, even though the RBL app clearly displayed my correct reward point balance. This has left me confused about the actual process and its reliability.

To clarify further, I also contacted a local Samsung Smart Café, but the staff there were unsure about this feature.

So, I’m here seeking insights:
  1. Has anyone successfully redeemed RBL Super Card reward points for a Bajaj EMI down payment?
  2. Are there any specific terms, conditions, or steps involved in this process that I should be aware of?
  3. Would it be better to try another Bajaj Finserv partner store or escalate this to RBL customer support for clarification?
Your advice would be immensely helpful, especially if you’ve personally gone through this process or know someone who has. I’d really appreciate detailed guidance to ensure I can make the most of these reward points instead of letting them go unused.

Looking forward to hearing your experiences and suggestions. Thank you in advance! 😊
