Seeking Insurance Suggestions for My Car

Anurag

TF Buzz
Hi everyone,

I'm planning to renew my car insurance and would love to get your input. I’m currently with Tata AIG, but I'm open to exploring other options as well.

I'd love to hear about your experiences with different car insurance companies and any suggestions for must-have add-ons. Specifically:

1. Which insurance company would you recommend, and why?

2. Which add-ons (like zero depreciation, engine protection, roadside assistance, etc.) are worth including?

3. Preferred mode for buying – do you prefer buying online, directly through the company, or via an agent?

Also, if anyone from New Delhi has an agent they trust and have had good experience with, I’d appreciate contact details or a referral.

Hearing about various experiences will really help me make an informed decision. Thanks in advance for any
suggestions or insights!

You must once go through policybazaar compare all options there by entering respective details
once you finalize, place call request to their agent ask them once see if you are comfortable with his choice, if not, them simply tell them your chosen ones he'll prepare a quote and will even offer some discount by his side and if he doesn't you may ask him once to do so!
Further for add ons
you must have these
zero dep (must check IDV carefully)
RTI (if applicable)
engine protect
CONSUMABLES
rsa - u may need (sometimes its complimentary in the plan you choose)
Personal belongings - (if you carry important stuff 🙂)
rest key replacement, tyre, daily allowance are your choice

my 2 cents
arrange apay gv of the cost of car policy through any platform at 5% discount and while paying for policy policybazaar has option to pay via amazon wallet rest you know better what to do 🙂

good luck!

Go with a local favourite.
What is excellent in Delhi may not be even average in Tirupati. And, vice versa. So, go with the local leader.

Talk to your car dealer - his experience n recommendation will be the best in your town - for your vehicle brand.

Insurance is basically to help you - in case of need. A few hundreds saved should not give you inwanted and avoidable trouble on a needy date.

Compare IDVs, NCBs and cash less facilities.

All the best.
