i just happened to check my transactions for this month, and found that axis has deducted a few hundred rupees (more than 500) from my credit card under 'grabdeals cashback reversal'.
since grabdeals cashback is credited after 60-90 days of transaction, it was not possible that the reversal was due to a cancelled shopping transaction.
so i wrote to the pno and they replied, saying that it was a 'technical issue' at their end and they had credited excess cashback to my account in November. They say they have reversed that.
now i am too lazy to calculate august grabdeals transactions and to see if they had actually credited more cashback to my account, but wanted members of this community to check their statements to ensure that axis is not cheating them out of actual cashback.
such 'technical issues' are not expected from a bank like Axis and teir casual behaviour about it as if 'not a big deal' is concerning.
