Should i trust the SBI Agent?

Hi TF Community,

So today in the mall the SBI agent offered to check the eligibility and limit for a CC using my PAN number. I didn't want to check but he insisted i should check the eligibility and possible limit and confirmed there will be no CIBIL hit. So i gave him my details and based upon that he told me that i am eligible for a SBI credit card without income proof and documentation and the limit would be minimum 2.8 lakh (other agent told me it would be above 3lakh). He did show me the mobile screen where there were some Alphanumeric values and the status was mentioned Pre approved and TRUE.

Should i trust him or not? Did anyone got similar limits what the agents told while applying? So far no CIBIL hit message or mail, but i have received application number for a new application. Did they submit my application? I exclusively told them not to apply as i want to wait for a better offer.

On call, how to know whether person is true or fake?

When they start application process you will get otp & email from bank only na.

on every steps he was showing me on whatsapp via SS, what he is filling & what else option is coming.
He had some portal where RBL,INDUS,YES Bank,ICICI & few more bank CC was showing under my profile.

hey guys today i applied for an sbi simply save rupay card from an sbi agent at mall..he applied and showed tentative limit of 1.41lak and said it doesnt need any documents for processing..got the tentative limit as message from sbi...got 1 call from city head office for verifying...does the next step involve physical verification ?

You won't receive any msg. I had a pre-approved card offer but still they physically verified. If they don't then you are lucky.
