I have axis ace credit card.
I have sc Manhattan cc with 5+ limit and eligible for sc ultimate cc.
I already applied for bob eterna ltf.
With bob eterna and axis ace, should i upgrade to ultimate or close Manhattan card?

Depends on whether or not you want 2% flat cashback or voucher redemption from points
Personally i'd say SC Ultimate for both online and offline spends when Eterna monthly online cap is reached
It's just that you have to justify it's yearly fees

Ultimate year fee that we needto pay is gst only. Otherwise we are getting 5000 rp every year

Yea i came to know that you get points worth of renewal fees yesterday 🤐
If that additional 1.33% over ace translates into more than 900 (GST of the renewal fees) savings then you should get SC Ultimate
That is your total spends not on Eterna being greater than 70000 throughout the year.
I don't find great value proposition on SC Ultimate if we're talking about personal use but for commercial it seems pretty great or to manufacture spends like wallet load and rent pay but then again rp redemption is pretty average in my opinion.
Croma is a decent option but i don't find anything else enticing

Go for Ultimate without any doubt. Don't think about that 900 gst per year. (Some getting RPs including gst too). It is worth it. SC Ultimate is the best CC for non-flight travellers.

Even Infinia is pretty good for someone who can get their spends done on smartbuy and even the base reward rate is the same
Or Magnus where base reward rate is 6.2% after crossing 1L

Not for offline transaction. No card does that except Ace @ 2% and only very small % of people does 1 lakh transaction per month.

The eterna gives higher returns till only 42k a month. If your usage will not exceed that by much, no point in getting the ultimate.

Infinia gives 3.3% offline also.

Such analysis only you can do as per your spends. To add to your confusion SBI Cashback is another option 😂
Dont think much about devaluation just make a strategy as per current offering. Manhattan is anyway a useless card.

Do you think that SC point redemption options are good?
No the options are not good. For offline spends if you are into travelling get Infinia which gives full 3.3% value only on travel else get an Ultimate and redeem for options available. Eterna which gives direct cashback makes sense only if your online spends are huge.
