SBI Card Should I Use This Trick Or Not?

Dear Technofino Member,

I have sbi credit card and I have 1 lakh rs limit now I ordered expensive mobile in Amazon after placed order i will cancel my order after generate sbi credit card it is show 3100 points reward points from above Canceled order shoul i repeat this method so I can earn more rewards points but I have some confusion this canceled order should count in income tax transaction or not ?

If repeat above method 10 times then it is count in income tax transaction (10 lakh rs)

Simple answer don't do it.
Complex version:
Sbi will/can deduct those points for cancellation and even if you redeem them they will deduct the balance from your card.
And if you place an order and cancel it before bill generation it doesn't count as spends on credit card.
Provided you get the refund in the same statement
So no tax liability as far as refunds in the same statement are concerned but if you let the statement generate and then get a refund then you're liable to pay taxes if the total transaction goes above 10 lakh
