I'm shocked at Simpl's shameless greed. They branded existing features into "Simpl Select" - a invite only program. Only feature is paying bills with credit limit. Stuff we been doing before Simpl Select was launched. It's not any new feature. They pay walled existing feature.
Moreover, they stil have convince fee for recharge etc.

This seems so silly. Anyone seriously going to pay 60+ per month (800+ per year, more than most cc fee) for something that was free untill just few days back? Feels like a poor business decision. If anything, it's going to discourage people even more from using Simpl for bill pay. I'm curious that others think about this. 🤔

Not pratical for people with low salary or freelancers or those with no savings living month to month. It's easier to have PayLater as it'll help stay below 30% on credit cards.

Like i order all my meds from Amazon pharmacy with 3 month EMI. I pay off monthly without any issues. I even get axio (capital float) loan offers for regularly using Amazon PayLater. Sure simpl has not been as useful to me, but helps me recharge mobile for relatives without messing up my needs. For relatives with salary it's easy to have me recharge and they clear it following month when they get salary.
