does HDFC provide an addon card to someone who already holds and hdfc card as primary card?

context: i have diners black and hdfc account. my mother has diners privilege and hdfc account. i want to give her DCB addon.

IDFC has refused addon on these same grounds, so want to confirm about hdfc.

My wife hold Regalia i was able get her add on DCB, My mom holds Kaching XL i got a add on card

Yes. Also I think HDFC gives the same add-on card number. Happened with me for Infinia. It is just a different physical card but the number is the same.

1) yes, primary holder can also get an addon (both were different variants in my case).
2) card numbers are same.
3) otp sent to primary holder's mobile number only.

Now that HDFC has started to issue Add On cards with new CC numbers and also OTP is received on Add On Card Members Phone number can anyone tell if we can still apply an add-on for a person who already has a credit card linked to his/her hdfc account?
