Suggestion for 20+ lakh upcoming shopping spend

Hi all,

I'm using infinia, platinum travel, Atlas, amex gold and amex mrcc and other cards.

Now I have an upcoming 20+lakh shopping spends. Mostly 10lakh in one month, another 5 to 10 in next 2 to 3 months

I have already spent 3lakh on platinum travel
Spent 14lakh on atlas.
2Lakh spent on infinia.

Thinking to apply axis magnus (don't want to go through the burgundy account). What are your your suggestions.

Magnus Burgundy will give highest returns for such kind of spends… unless they include significant amount in jewellery (which is exclusion category for Magnus)

Other option is to take one more Atlas / Plat Travel in spouse’s or family member’s PAN

If you are willing to put 30L in FD, it will happen quickly.. or 30L in savings account will also work… you can take out 20L post approval of MB card and maintain 10L AMB

It is usually painful for people who want to get MB card with 10L AMB/AQB

Normal Magnus is also decent for your kind of spends as it gives accelerated rewards above 1.5L … but reward rate is half. So take a call based on how much money you have at disposal as normal Magnus wont require FD or AMB

I'll stay away from the axis savings account for now. Happy with hdfc imperia.

My only question is , is plain magnus worth 12.5 for such spends, nothing in exclusion category

Do you suggest just another 1 or 2 with a good milestone benefits?

I have edited last part of my comment....

Normal Magnus will give 7% in the form of miles / hotel points on all spends above 1.5L in a month.... I don't think there is any other card that will match it... May be a Plat travel on different PAN can help ... Plus you will also get fee waiver for next year due to high spends this year... For current year, you will get some vouchers for fees paid
