Suggestion for beach resort in Havelock and Neil Island

Hi all,

Does anyone have personal recommendations for beach resorts in Havelock and Neil Island, Andaman? Budget mid level (below Taj level, similar to ITC).

Planning for 6 nights. If idea is to relax, does 3 days Havelock, 1 day Neil Island and 2 days in Port Blair sounds ok?

I have been to Andaman twice, last time last year. Stayed at TSG in Havelock this time. It's not exactly a beach resort but closest to Radhanagar beach (500 mtr) which is probably the best beach in Andaman (and Asia). If you prefer purely a beach resort, then Havelock beach resort is a good option. For Neil the Pearl Park beach resort is a good option. TSG aura is also good. Better to keep Neil as well for 2 days as it is arguably better than Havelock in terms of diving, greenery and relaxation.

I was planning only 6 nights. If I have to increase a day in Neil Island, do you suggest to cut down a day in Havelock or in Port Blair? I am not too much into touristy place. So, cutting down Port Blair seems to be better idea. Will you recommend to go to Havelock Island on first day after getting down from flight? Will need to check availability of ferry.

I stayed at Seashell havelock and Seashell samsara...both are luxurious properties with private beaches. I would recommend to stay for 2 days at Neil Island.

While booking check the prices with and without lunch and dinner (breakfast is included). In general food is very costly in Andaman.

I had good stay experience at Symphony Palms (Sea Facing Cottage) at Havelock Island & Sea Shell Luxury Tents at Neil Island some years back.
Not sure if anything changed after that for this two properties !!

I have stayed in seashell properties in havelock & Port Blair in 2018. They were nice & food was good too.

But it's been long time. I hope they have maintained the standard.

For cruise, makruzz is best.

Our most of the meals were at hotel only.

If you have early morning departure from port blair, lemon tree hotel is a good option. It's just across the airport at walkable distance.

I would suggest adding one more day for Neil, reduce one from Havelock/port blair.
At Havelock, I didn't like Radhanagar beach. Overhyped. It's far away too. Better to stay near Govind Nagar Beach. Resorts are very good. Take any beach resort. Take tent for a better feel.
Things have changed over time.
Rent a bike/car to roam around in Neil and Havelock. Try Scuba as well.
