What is the best credit card for buying gold/jewellery items?

I used Axis Ace CC for 2% cashback till now for gold purchases but from September 15, 2022 it will be discontinued. So, looking for suggestions for alternative cards for gold purchases.

I would suggest to use IDFC select or Any other card with 1% cash back in mid range or you can check DCB or Magnus in premium segment

Sure, IDFC gives cb on jewellery? Read somewhere that it doesn't.

If you have flipkart axis you can get 1.5% 🙂 but i heard even that will be removed soon

Axis Flipkart CC used to give 1.5% cashback on gold purchases long ago but it was also removed. (see Terms and Conditions)

Axis Ace is used to be king of all cashback cards. Now it is also being downgraded.
Gold purchases and insurances payments cashback is being removed which is a great loss.
