Hi technofinos,

I wanted to close one of credit card it is becoming hard to manage multiple cards due to my daily routine.

Below are my cards :

Indusind pinnacle: 1.5L paid joining fee LTF
Sbi ocatne : FYF 1.5L
ICICI Apay : ICICI platinum: 2.1L LTF
Axis Freecharge : FYF 80K
RBL Zomato Classic : 1.35L LTF
IDFC MILINIA : 1.5L LTF

Thanks and regards,
Kiran

I think you should keep all your LTF cards. At max, you can remove one of the FYF cards.

If managing multiple cards is an issue, you can ask all the banks to make the billing date around 5-10 days before the date you ideally want to pay the credit card so that you can pay all in one go. For example, I keep all the statements date between 18 to 28 of a month so that I can pay all my bills on the day I receive my salary i.e. 1st as all the due dates fall 5-10 days after that.

If you are not an avid user of Freecharge then Axis Freecharge card seems the ideal candidate to be closed. Since you don't have any other Axis card, I would recommend you to get Axis Airtel card. But it completely depends on your specific use case.
