Suggestions for HDFC Tata Neu Credit card closure to apply for HDFC Millennia Credit card

Hello,
I currently part of HDFC Classic Programme Bank as Account is opened recently on Aug 14th 2025 only and also hold following HDFC Credit Cards with Current Credit limit of Rs.86000, limit shared by the cards:

1) HDFC Swiggy credit card - (Life time free Card, which I don't want to close)

2) Tata Neu Plus Rupay Credit Card - (Due for Renewal fee of 590/- in December statement, spends criteria for fee waiver not achieved as spends may be less than 30k in the year)

3) HDFC Freedom Rupay card - Fully Paid card Also obtained recently in Aug 2025 through Paytm only only for the sake of obtaining core HDFC credit card.

4) Closed HDFC Pixel Credit card in July 2025 but not yet received the credit limit restoration of 24000 to my existing limit, i already raised complaint and HDFC is saying that they are looking into the issue and postponing my resolution date (if limit restored then it will be 110000 total Credit limit)

Now I want HDFC Millennia Credit card badly either paid or LTF card or rupay or MasterCard or Visa variant. So i already requested through HDFC customer care email for Converting my Tata Neu plus Credit card to Millennia Credit card they out right rejected, i escalated the email and still received the same reply that they can't provide any credit card upgrade to my Tata Neu plus Credit card. So what out of the following options should I do to get the Millennia Credit card ? As i am unwilling to wait to receive pre-approved credit card offers in HDFC net banking as i am not sure if I ever receive any pre approved offers from HDFC.

1) should I request through customer care email/ phone again for tata Neu plus to Millennia Credit card conversion after restoring my credit limit back to 1,10,000 ?

2) should I apply Millennia Credit card through Branch/RM now in September immediately after closing my Tata Neu credit card now ? (Also RM seems not too much interested in applying credit card for me other than getting my Account for classic banking program & my CIBIL is 777 with 12 total credit cards active)

3) Also will a new credit card will be issued immediately after closing the credit card in same month, what should be the ideal time time limit between closing One HDFC credit card and opening other in HDFC Bank?

4) Also what is the ideal time gap in HDFC to issue New credit cards? As I was recently only in Aug 2025 only issued a new HDFC credit card so when can I reapply for HDFC credit card again?

Please help with any suggestions, appreciate if anyone giving me any other advice also.

If you don't need tata neu then you can close it.

You have got a card recently so at least 3 to 6 months most probably they will not issue you new card.

Since you already got a core card you can use it regularly for six months and try to upgrade it to millennia if you get your limit back.

Millennia is a good card but there are many cards like it. If you a Flipkart person you can take Flipkart card or Amazon card if you do mostly Amazon. And there is SBI cashback the king of kings. You can consider accordingly.

Thank you for your suggestion, Already have Amazon ICICI and SBI Cashback credit card. Want Millennia because it can be used even during regular Non-Offer times & also because HDFC is excluding co-branded cards Swiggy, tataneu during offers. Freedom Rupay for regular usage is worthless, which I found in hard way after getting the card.
