Hey guys. Im about to file a complaint with rbi against Axis,
Any suggestions to further strengthen the case would be helpful.Open to everyone's suggestions -
The RBI,
I have been wrongfully reported by Axis bank ltd to Cibil for late payment of Two days which has drastically reduced my credit score.
The Due date was 30th march ,2023.
I had paid the bill through google pay, a 3rd party vendor
on 30th March,2023.
Also in my axis statement it is displaying 30th march as the payment date.
Details of the transaction -
Online Payment(xxx)
Amount
₹xx
Date
30 Mar, 2023
Reference ID xx
But still axis has reported me wrongfully to the CIBIL reporting agency dsepite paying on the due date.
Had raised this to the twitter support team, they raised a
Service Request Number: xx only after they were threatened to be reported to the Ombudsman but yet they failed to provide a legal conclusion and closed the SRN by claiming " Hi, as stated earlier, we have checked the details and would like to inform you that the delay in payment reported for March 2023 has been correctly reported. As per our records, the payment due on March 30, 2023 was received by us on April 03, 2023 and hence, the delay has been reported. Regards, Team Axis Bank. "
Full extract of communication is attached.
Now my questions are -
1. Why did the executive whom i proactively spoke to on 30th March 2023(the due date of payment), expressively say on call that i will not be reported to the credit reporting agencies since payment is made on the due date and the due date would be taken as the payment date.
The executive further claimed that there were some issues with axis servers due to the year end hence the systems did not process the same, call Recording attached
Why should i be penalised for someone else's mistake?
2. Rbi has guidelines that payment up to 2 days after the due date should not be reported the credit agencies or be fined.
In my case the payment is done on the due date(as per axis credit card statement attached) but yet axis wrongfully reported.
Axis bank ltd has clearly violated this and are adamant in not resolving this issue despite raising an SRN.
The faith on RBI was regained only when i came to know that you have penalised Axis bank
through an article on money control https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...kQFnoECEUQAQ&usg=AOvVaw0H-2mKEqHqnEJsz0fonS2n
Request you to penalise Axis bank for such malpractices, Order an Audit on their Central Banking system and direct Axis to rectify their mistake of wrongfully reporting to the credit agencies and adequately compensate me for the mental agony.
(I wish i could say, " direct axis to give LTF reserve With Nil Amb Burgundy for life😅")
