This is about Swiggy GV's I used to buy at an effective 12@ off retail price. that were prematurely expired and hence could not apply in Swiggy App well before the expiry date.
How I made them re-instated.. ( Total 10 GVs @500 = 5,000 in value).
Timelines:
13/07/2023 - Purchased Swiggy GV's via grab deal at 7% off and 5% CB etc... .. The expiry date on these GVs is: 09/02/2024
30/08/2023 - Tried to redeem in Swiggy App ( Failure error with " Expired GV , contact Swiggy")
31/08/2023 - contacted Swiggy.. As usual gave some stock replies and said they had expired on 15/08/2023. go and talk to Grabdeals. Swiggy got nothing to do and no resolution.
01/09/2023 - Contacted Woohoo on the number given on GV and wrote to them detailing my issue.. They sent me emaisl every 2 days that they had been waiting reply from Swiggy.
14/09/2023 - A guy ffrom Pine labs called me and confirmed my email address to send the new GVs.
15/09/2023 - Received the new GVs , and they are all valid and good to go..
@VISHESH_BANSAL , I have asked this guy from Pine labs about the validity date mentioned on the GV. It actually is the date within which we have to redeem in Swiggy and it is not the date within which we have to consume.. You asked this me a long time ago.. now here is the answer. SImply it is the redemption date and not useby date...
