Swiggy HDFC card 5% cashback on medplus online spends

Can anyone comfirm if you're getting 5% cb on spends on medplus using Swiggy hdfc card? If so, i will apply

I don't know about the select merchant but in the HDFC website, this MCC list pdf is provided under the 5% CB category. So, I think only the MCC matters.

If you see the below note, it is clearly mentioned that only selected merchants mapped under these MCCs earn the cashback. So, i want to understand if Medplus is included in those merchants list.

I think its is clearly mentioned as selected merchants mapped with these MCCs are only eligible for cashback.

So, its a certain selected merchants that are eligible and we can only get to know of our merchant is in their selected or not by doing a test transaction.

I think the merchant given in brackets are the select one. Like for discount stores only amazon flipkart will earn 5%. For those categories where only mcc is given, only mcc of the merchant will be considered. Check if medplus actually have one of the pharmacy mcc taged to them. You would have to do a test order tho. Or you can decline all transaction on card. Try to pay the order which will fail and then call customer care and check the mcc for the failed transaction.

Yeah you can check mcc on doing transaction with any credit card... Once you know the mcc just cross check from the list and then apply if its there.

There is some confusion as they need to use select merchants in the statement. They can mention all the merchants mapped with these MCC codes. But instead used select merchants which is kind of confusing

I got to know the MCC which medplus online use is 5912 which is part of pharmacies MCC. Now the only thing that i want to know is does Swiggy HDFC card gives 5% cashback on Medplus online transaction so thar i can apply it. For me, this is the main criteria as i alrewdy have hsbc cashback card 10% cashback on swiggy spends or other offline spends.

Better get SBI Cashback Card, why are you getting into mcc things. I am using SBI Cashback in MedPlus every month I receive 5% on my spends. Not only on MedPlus every pharmacy website/app gives 5% CB.
In MedPlus your effective discount comes to 24% total on orders above 1000rs

1000+ gst fee is not feasible for me as I'm already HSBC CB with the same fee. I also have MRCC. So, i generally buy Apay vouchers using mrcc via gyftr portal and use that to pay all my bills. I'm trying to get HDFC swiggy card as LTF.

That depends on your usage. If you can get Swiggy HDFC LTF then go for it irrespective of whether you get cashback or not.

Also, share the trick on how to get LTF.

I got an email that select few corporate companies have this card as LTF as introductory offer.

I recently contacted HDFC agent(my friend) to get this card LTF. I don't have LTF offer in my Swiggy App.
He is positive that he can make this card LTF. Let's see.
I will update you soon if he can do it LTF for me. Existing HDFC card Tata Neu Plus.
