Taking IDFC WoW Card- Good or Bad?

So I was planning to do FD in IDFC Bank as that amount is going to stay in their savings account anyways. I thought why not take WoW card on the base of it as well.

Few points:
-I already hold their Select account but unable to get their unsecured card coz in June 22 I applied and it got rejected. Its still showing that error 'Your application can't be processed'.

-This is my first secured card. Not needed but just because I was doing FD, so took it. Have 9 other unsecured cards.

My query is:
1)Is it wise to take their secured card?

2)Will IDFC hesitate to provide unsecured card to me because of this card?

3)Any other point you would like to add.

Yeah that's why I didn't applied directly. It was showing only 6.75%.
Created FD for 2 years under 7.75% rate and then took the card on existing FD.

I have FD already with them but for 1 year. Card still asks me to create new FD. Should I create a new FD with 730 days i.e. 2 years? @Chaitanya-a

Your FD should be on Auto-renewal status. Then only card can be applied via that. Try modifying FD & apply again.

I think I will have to create a new FD as I dont see any option to modify the existing FD.

Yeah rates are good at this time. Can close older one and create new FD. Best rate is applicable on 1 and half year to 3 years time frame.

I'm taking it just for IDFC Specific offers. As they're not providing unsecured card anyways. Tried several times, but in vain.

1. You should not any secured card in cibil and no relationship ship idfc in past.

2. If you have x relationship with idfc then you should have taken emi from paylater, debit em or personal loans.

** my friend got idfc card, he purchased a mobile on flipkart idfc pay later on emi.

Wow card doesn't have regular Paytm movie offer unlike unsecured IDFC cards. Offer is only on BMS B1G1 via Visa Infinite card.

But the catch is we have to book tickets at midnight itself. Otherwise the quota gets over and then have to try next day.

Yes. You can create FD from their app and can get secured WOW as well.

Nutshell: 1st card from IDFC should be Unsecured, 2nd can be Secured (FD backed)

Ok. Thanks for the tip. I tried using the WOW card. I saw the bin number was eligible but when I entered the card number for applying the offer, it said not applicable. Must be because of the quota

there was no response on secured card tab press.

I just closed that FD, and open another, and this time It showed option to apply for WOW card just after creation.
applied, and approved .

now question is :
- if I want to increase the limit on that card whether I need to again do another FD and it will be merge ? or any other way ?
and whether I can get multiple WOW card on basis of multiple FD

Can anyone please tell me how to close this card and after closer request initiated how many days it will take to get fd money refund?
I don't want to use this card from this piece of shit customer support bank.
