Taking Paylater affects the ability to take credit card from same bank?

I want to ask whether taking Paylater service offered by a particular bank reduces our ability to get credit card from same bank?
I had taken Flipkart Paylater (offered by IDFC First Bank) and closed it after few months. 100% on time payments.
But when I applied for Credit card from IDFC First Bank, they didn't even offered me lowest variant Millenia CC. Whereas I have cards from HDFC, ICICI & Axis banks. So is it because of that personal loan?
When I applied from different number, it is only showing Wow card.

BNPL...= Personal Loan And CIBIL Shows Under Personal Loan..

It May affect Your Score ...

That's Why most of the people Never Use BNPL SERVICES

Yeah that's the only BNPL I had and closed after few months when I got to know about it showing as Personal loan in CIBIL.

While applying for IDFC, did you enter your existing card details?
they offer according to that.
I didn't enter anything so they offered me millenia as well.
But when i re applied after few months with my exisiting icici cc with 3L+ limit they offered me IDFC Select card.
.
That pay later thing would have affected your credit score for sure but I don't think that is the major reason... atleast in case of IDFC.

I tried with ICICI & HDFC both, it was only showing Wow card.
And for 1st mobile number, it is still in cooling period. Don't know why. I applied 6 months back and its still showing the application no. exists and you can't apply.
