I have tried it & finally it shows first year free only with renewal fee of 1499.

Only card is issued free. No joining fee (issue fee).

I already have LTF Infinity, so cannot test it.
The page shows LTF (I haven't seen HDFC pushing misleading information on there product page in the past).

If this is not working for anyone then I guess, we can close the thread.

Whatever HDFC says is not fully reliable. Whatever their CHN office does is utmost unreliable. Whatever their CC team inform/guide/commit is not true nor correct.

Even the worst slot machine in the worst club in Las Vegas is thousand times more reliable and better than them.

What are festive dates + it is not mentioned selective customers only?
That way it becomes misleading..

If you finely observe that hdfc webpage, you see that both clauses are mentioned i.e. ltf clause and in below line chargeable clause.
Let's assume if hdfc bank decides to give ltf card to each and every applicant, that's totally impossible task to bank.
So only option left to them is to give ltf cards to selective eligible customers who they send/communicate via email/sms/whatsapp about this offer during festival period for a limited time only.
