Tata Neu Infinity non-BBPS/non-Tata Neu Utility Bill Transaction Reward Rate

After reading through several Tata Neu Inifinity documents and posts, I have been unable to make it out if payments made for utility bills (to 4900 MCC - non Govt) directly on the acquirer's website would earn any rewards i.e. 1.5%. If yes, which mode, CC or UPI on Rupay?

I couldn't find a specific exclusion clause.

P.S. Please note that the merchant in consideration is not live on BBPS and is hence not available on Tata Neu Bill Payments module. Also, they do not accept Amazon Pay/PhonePe GVs.

Yes u should get the base 1.5%. Try using card directly because for UPI there is monthly limit of 500 neucoins.

For any utilitie bill payments made directly to the merchant you will get 1.5% coins. Only payment made using the Neu app fetch additional 3.5%

I have paid 1920 on 02/10/2025 to pay for the utility bills using Tata Neu App. The merchant name is appearing as 'TATA PAYMENTS LIMITEDBMUMBAI'. In my statement, there is no 'Base NeuCoins*' against this transaction. Inside bonus Neu Coins box, I have received 29 Neu coins against 'Neucoins_on_Utility'. This is only 1.5%. How to get 5%?

You should see an item "Add_TataPayment" which will have the remaining 3.5% coins. If not, you could wait for the next statement as it is sometimes delayed or reach out to customer care.
