Devaluation Tata Neu Infinity surcharge and GST on fuel if used via UPI?

Tata Neu Infinity is attracting surcharge and GST on fuel transaction even though I used Tata Neu scan and pay option and paid via UPI.

I thought surcharge and GST will be there for card swipe only?

Swipe and UPI are treated equally.

You should get waiver till rs 500 per statement with minimum transaction of Rs 400.

If not fuel surcharge, no gst is charged on surcharge. Used for fuel with upi as well as swipe.

Pine perks Rupay card will refund GST but they never return 1% surcharge (transaction amount is 500 Rs each time). Once I did 2900 Rs transaction, I got nothing back.
