Starting our very own TF Family groups for Youtube Premium Subscription -
  • 13+ years old
  • For India google users only.
  • Looking for 5 yearly members @ Rs. 384 / year (Rs. 32/m).
  • Extra perk - 30 days free premium subscription.
  • Extra perk - Youtube Music FREE
  • Extra perk - Youtube Kids FREE
  • Monthly payment tracking would be a hassle. Best to opt for yearly. Monthly fees will be cut off my gplay monthly.
  • Don't abuse your premium features (other members of the family might suffer).
Once we have 5 confirmed members, payment will be requested from all members.

Your family membership will be locked for the next 12months. Even if you remove yourself for some reason, you cannot join any other family group.

Kindly do not remove yourself from the family group once your membership starts.

And as an extra perk, you can use your premium account and login to your home tv, and 1 other mobile device (need to have same google account on that mobile device also).

So basically you get 3 premium membership at Rs. 32 pm..that's around Rs10 per month for your youtube premium family membership.

UPDATE 12 JULY 2024

For the 2nd group onwards, yearly payment of Rs. 384 - would it be flexible for users to pay a little extra and make it Rs 400 for 1 year premium membership ?

As I already have premium membership, and I am willing to pay Rs268 towards my membership, which I will not use.

189 monthly x 12 = Rs. 2268
400 x 5 members = Rs. 2000
Extra Rs. 268, I will pay.

For Rs.400 per year of youtube premium membership is still very cheap.

Or any other members can join, become the group manager and start new family group as well. Then the yearly price will be Rs. 384 for each member.

UPDATE 1 SEPTEMBER 2024

Youtube did a price hike on monthly family plan from Rs.189 to Rs.299. That is Rs. 110 increase from earlier charge.

Even if you keep it at 50/person and charge 18rs as convenience, it's a good deal. Of course this is for people who want to get into a family group or are currently an individual subscriber. I myself have 3 slots free but with Google you also get access to their other services which I don't want so I let it go waste.

I think you can choose what services you wish to share with family
 
I have been with YT family plan since 2 years its fantastic. You can add up to 6 gmail id's(including yours). All individual will get full benefits. Primary account holder cannot see anything . The satisfaction of not seeing Ads on Youtube is something else. YT music also comes free with it. If you guys are opting for for family plan with yearly basis .

Yes! It’s absolutely value for money with family plan

Only one frustrating thing is, there is no yearly family plan or am I missing something?
