The Lounge, T1, Ahmedabad

I recently visited this lounge and airport after a year. I noticed some notable changes in the Airport. Last time I was here, the airport was undergoing renovations.

Now, the renovations are almost complete and the airport looks bigger, more spacious, and well-maintained. It's quite beautiful now. It's great to see that the airport has caught up with the standards of other major airports in India.

Now, let's talk about the lounge in Ahmedabad. Unfortunately, there hasn't been any change in the interior or space. It's still overcrowded and there were no seats available. People were standing and eating. It took me around 20-25 minutes to find a seat for myself. I was there around 8pm.

However, I must say that the food options were very good. They had a variety of options from main courses to snacks to desserts, even more options than the Encalm lounges in Delhi.

AMD domestic lounge always had good food, partly because they don't have buffet service like every other lounge and instead have a made-to-order system(more like heated to order) for a small menu,
And the views are decent as well

But sadly crowd as been increasing to the point that there's no more space to sit in the lounge even if you're traveling alone, forget about it if you're traveling with group

This lounge certainly needs an expansion

Bro, I believe you may have mistaken Ahmedabad Lounge for another lounge. They consistently offer buffet services at all times. I have personally visited this lounge 4-5 times since 2023 and can confirm that they always provide buffet options.

I've been using this lounge it was opened in 2019 since i was based in AMD those days, left AMD in late 2020
Last i went it was in Feb 24, it was breakfast time, i had used meet and greet through magnus as well
No buffet only limited menu items on display

I am always there after 5pm, I never access AMD Lounge during breakfast time.
