Open GrabDeals and look for Marks & Spencers, and select 45x Edge reward points.

For Magnus:
Shop for Rs. 3600
You get 3600 / 200 * 12 * 45 = 9720 Edge points (After 120 days)
Convert to CV points at 5:4 = 7776 CV points

For Axis Reserve:
Shop for Rs. 2800
You get 2800 / 200 * 15 * 45 = 9450 points (After 120 days)
Convert to CV points at 5:4 = 7560 CV points

The cap for GrabDeals is 10,000 points per month so we almost reached the cap.

Let's use these 7500 points to redeem a flight between BLR-DEL.

The Tax amount would be around: Rs. 527

For the same flight on MMT it would cost around 6-7k depending on the time.

Coming back to the calculation

For Magnus:
total spent = 3600 + 527 tax = 4127

The value extracted based on the amount of money spent
= 7000 / 4127 * 100 = 170% 😱

For Reserve:

total spent = 2800 + 527 tax = 3327

The value extracted based on the amount of money spent
= 7000 / 3327 * 100 = 210% 😱

You might get more or less value depending on the flight price you are looking for. This example is used just for calculation purposes.

For buying a Jacket I am getting a free flight! Not a bad deal 😉

Point is do u really need that jacket.one needs to sort out what u want and what u need
The point is not about the jacket , but If someone does have a genuine flight that he has planned to take , rather booking directly from MMT , if he has a Magnus card he can simple get the airmiles required . But the planned trip has to be atleast 4 months in advance as axis gives the ER from grabdeals in and about 90 to 120 days

Here is another point of view for you.
Assume you have a flight 4 months from now.
Instead of paying 7k for the flight, you are paying around 4k.

You are effectively getting 40% off on the flight and free Marks & Spenser clothing worth 3.6k of your choice. Still a bad deal huh?

You mean I can do this 12 months... 1 cloth every month
Shop for Rs. 3600 * 12 = 43,200
You get 43,200/ 200 * 12 * 45 * 12 = 1,16,640 Edge points (After 120 days)
Convert to CV points at 5:4 = 93,312 CV points..
Whats the catch other than 4 month ?

This has been running for few months already. I hope it won’t get devalued soon.

Only if this offer would last a year. I don't think it will. 45x is too good to be true offer.

I am in the same boat - no confirmation SMSes which means need to wait till (if/when) bonus points get credited. The only hope I see is in the last 2 weeks, for a flight txn done on Travel Edge, bonus points were credited within a week - so I'll update this thread if bonus points are credited sooner than 120 days for the M&S spend.

Has anyone here actually got the additional points for any Grabdeals transaction till now?
In HDFC, the statement shows it as smartbuy spends if I land on a website through smartbuy so I can be sure that it's correctly recorded.
In Axis it shows as Mark & Spenser so I am not even sure at this point.
