To Keep or Not to Keep: Assessing the Value of My Debit Card

I have a BOI account that's just 1 km from my house. The main reason I keep it is the low ₹500 minimum account balance and the ease of depositing money. However, I pay ₹200 + GST for a debit card that I never use, except for generating my UPI password. Currently, I rely on UPI and net banking for fund transfers. Should I close the debit card? My concern is, if something goes wrong with my UPI or net banking, I might need the debit card to reactivate those services. What are your opinions?

i have recently blocked/hotslisted by BPI Rupay Platinum DC to avoid these charges. if you are not using, its good to stop the unnecessary outflow

Suppose something happen with your UPI or NetBanking and you are required to fix it. How can you do it without Debit Cards ? (As in most cases they asked for Debit Card details)
